Karen has worked assisting attorneys since 1981 and began her legal career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she landed employment in the labor law department of Cohen Shapiro. Since leaving Cohen Shapiro, she has worked on a wide variety of legal matters including civil litigation, corporate matters, and creditor bankruptcy work. She came to the Capital Defense Group as a paralegal in October 2015. Karen assists the attorneys at trial and her co-workers in a number of ways, and enjoys working as a member of the group. She studied voice and piano at Delta State University.
